Mini Meaty Ciabatta Sandwich

Simple and Delicious

Sometimes after a long day and not having the energy to cook, dinner will consist of a simple and delicious sandwich. After the time consuming and laborious video of the surf n turf burrito, I just wanted to make something simple. A Sandwich.

The sandwich wasn’t merely food; it was an experience. The first bite was an orchestra of textures and tastes: the slight resistance of the bread yielding to the tender meat, the creamy dressing complementing the soft mozzarella cheese, and the bright zing of the white balsamic vinegar cutting through the richness of olive oil. Every element sang in harmony, a testament to the simple joy of perfect ingredients layered with care. It was more than delicious; it was a revelation, proving that true culinary magic often resides between two slices of bread.

Ingredients

  • Ciabatta bread
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Hellman’s Mayo
  • Olive oil
  • White balsamic vinegar
  • Dried oregano and dried basil
  • Salt and pepper
  • Green leaf lettuce
  • Red Onion
  • Salami, Pepperoni, Prosciutto, Capicola, Peppered Salami
  • Potato chips of choice (I used salt and vinegar chips!)

Instructions

  • Thinly slice the red onion, tomatoes and mozzarella cheese
  • In a small bowl add chopped lettuce, season with salt and pepper and a dash of garlic powder and shake
  • Cut the roll in 1/2 and add the olive oil to both slices followed by Hellman’s mayo
  • Add the lettuce sprinkle with balsamic vinegar
  • Add the cheese, tomatoes, and onions adding salt and pepper to each layer
  • Sprinkle with oregano and dried basil
  • Finally add all the meats and cut in half.

Enjoy!
